I’m a certified ISR Instructor and the founder of
Water Monsters, LLC, an ISR approved swim program. 
While I have a bachelor’s degree in Spanish, I've always known I wanted to spend my career caring for and teaching children. I have over a decade of experience in child care as a lead Pre-K teacher, Spanish tutor for elementary students, preschool soccer coach,

au pair in Peru, and a professional nanny. I have worn many hats!

 

I've loved each of these roles for unique reasons, but most of all, I've loved being a part of children’s learning journeys and connecting with their families.
 

I was introduced to ISR in 2021 after moving with my partner and our fur baby to Austin, TX. After watching the first lesson and learning the statistics of how many children die each year from drowning incidents, I knew right away I wanted to become an instructor. So, I took my first steps to fulfill my passion for teaching kids and equipping as many children as possible with the skills to Self-Rescue™.

 

I am committed to using my experiences and ISR certified skills to teach your little water monsters life-changing aquatic skills (and have a monstrously fun time doing it!). I look forward to getting to know your family and helping your child learn!
